Wi Care at the Northern Suburbs Social Networking Event: Connecting and Growing Together

On July 4th, 2024, I had the pleasure of attending the Northern Suburbs Social Networking event, hosted by Able+ and their partners. It was an incredible experience that allowed me to connect with a diverse range of service providers within the NDIS community. The event's energy was palpable, with professionals from various sectors coming together to share insights and opportunities.

The highlight of the event for me was the engaging networking format. Unlike traditional networking events where people often sit around tables, this event was designed to maximise interaction. With a standing-room-only setup, everyone was encouraged to move around and engage in meaningful conversations. The speed networking sessions were particularly impactful, ensuring that I had the opportunity to meet every other attendee. This approach fosters greater collaboration and ensures that participants have choice and control over the connections they make.
